Minnesota Congressman Collin Peterson has been given the
2019 Friend of Farm Credit award.
The AgriBank District Farm Credit Council says Peterson,
the current chair of the House Agriculture Committee, has long supported the
farm credit system and has fought to expand financial opportunities for veteran
and beginning farmers.
Peterson calls farming a capital-intensive industry with a significant amount of risk and says farm credit institutions are a trusted partner.
