Planting early? Use seed treatments

There’s increasing data that indicates soybean farmers see
better yields when planting early.

If only capturing more bushels was that simple.

Field conditions are typically less than ideal early in the spring, and an official with BASF says the tradeoff between an April planting date and trouble with germination might be as easy as a seed treatment.

BASF seed treatment product manager Melissa Chu says the data connecting more bushels with earlier planting dates is encouraging.
