Planting progress varies in Missouri

An owner of a grain elevator in northeast Missouri says planting progress is all over the board due to the recent rains.

“It’s not late, we’re not worried.”

Sam Sullivan tells Brownfield some farmers are just starting planting of corn and soybeans and others are finished.

“Most everything that went in went in about two weeks ago up to the first of April. It’s been cold, but I haven’t heard much about replanting.
