An American Soybean Association officer says the world market for soybeans has not decreased because of China’s shift away from the U.S as a major buyer. Kevin Scott farms in southeast South Dakota, “Other countries have stepped up and, of course, soybeans are on sale right now because of the tariffs. So other countries are getting good buys and we’re trying to reopen those markets that we have not had as much touch with in the recent past.”
