According to the USDA, light rains provided some crop relief in Michigan this week. Barley conditions improved, despite dry conditions, and is 86 percent planted and 77 percent good to excellent.
Corn is 93 percent planted and 69 percent good to excellent.
Soybeans are 86 percent planted and 68 percent good to excellent.
Topsoil moisture is 73 percent and subsoil moisture is 79 percent adequate to surplus.
