Recent rains have benefited crops in Arkansas.

The USDA reports as of Sunday 13 percent of corn is silking, nine percent of cotton has reached the squaring stage and 38 percent of soybeans are blooming.

The corn crop is rated 68 percent good to excellent, with cotton at 80 percent, peanuts at 91 percent, rice at 57 percent, and soybeans at 63 percent good to excellent. 

Winter wheat harvest is underway at 33 percent complete with 91 percent coloring and a rating of 72 percent good to excellent.
