A southeast Minnesota farmer says his crops received some timely moisture this week.
Les Anderson of Red Wing tells Brownfield his area went more than a month without substantial rainfall.
“The crops (are) looking pretty good. We got .7 inches last week, which should help. But the drier areas have definitely been hurt a little bit.”
He says the bottom leaves on corn were firing, and there are other signs of stress, too.
