Red meat exports are off to a strong start for 2018.
Joe Schuele with the US Meat Export Federation says beef exports are growing around the world, but US mainstay Asian markets – Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan are leading the way. “Through the first half of the year beef export volume was up 9 percent from the first half of 2017 and export value was up 21 percent to over 4-billion-dollars,” he says.
