U.S. ethanol exports declined in May.
The Renewable Fuels Association says ethanol exports during May were 147.1 million gallons, down 21% from the four-year high hit in April. Canada was the top customer for the fourteenth month in a row, followed by South Korea, the Netherlands, India, and the United Kingdom. Year to date U.S. ethanol exports are 726 million gallons, 24% ahead of last year’s pace.
Exports of distillers dried grains with solubles were a four-month high at 966,108 tons, an increase of 19% from May, with Mexico taking in their biggest volume in six months.
