Governor Tony Evers has appointed Randy Romanski as the state’s interim
director at the Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection. Romanski was Deputy Secretary under Brad
Pfaff, who was not confirmed by the State Senate Tuesday.
Evers tells Brownfield he does not have a possible permanent successor in mind. “No I don’t, not right off the top of my head. I was hoping that the Legislature would have approved Brad.”
And, the Governor isn’t going to rush to select a new nominee.
