Across the Corn Belt, spotty showers and thunderstorms have returned parts of the region, extending from the western Great Lakes, southwestward. Meanwhile, warm weather is returning across the southwestern Corn Belt, well in advance of an approaching storm system. On the Plains, scattered showers and thunderstorms are affecting the northern half of the region.
