SD corn harvest below 10%

Just nine percent of South Dakota corn had been harvested as of Sunday,well behind the nearly 30 percent on average.

Soybean harvest was 33 percent complete, behind the 76
percent five-year average.

Winter wheat planting was on pace at 95 percent with 80
percent emerged, ahead of last year and the average. Fifteen percent of sorghum
has been harvested, which is behind. Sunflower harvest has yet to reach 10%, well
behind the average of 28 percent.
