“I think they’ll end up extending the bill at least one year at minimum and still I don’t know if they’ll be able to get anything passed then. I’ve never seen things so divided out here.”
Sombke says lawmakers can’t seem to decide how to address the lack of funding for program updates and some want to use the conservation funding provided in the Inflation Reduction Act to fund reference price updates.
