SE Minnesota farmer advocates for less tillage

A farmer in southeastern Minnesota wants to see less tillage in crop production.

“No-till we feel works, and minimum tillage works to some degree.  But I think the old adage that ‘if you want something to work you’ll make it work.’  It may not be the easiest route, but in the long-run hopefully it pays dividends.”

Speaking to Brownfield at an ag appreciation breakfast in Preston hosted by affiliate KFIL, he says another year of tight margins might be nudging more growers away from conventional tillage.
