A southeastern Minnesota farmer pleased with harvest progress says conditions haven’t been ideal.
Brent Mohn of Lakeville tells Brownfield he’s finishing up soybeans.
“Truth be told, I’d still be looking for a few more degrees during the day and at night. I’m looking forward to when we get the corn driers running again. Those low overnight temperatures and I wouldn’t say high daytime temperatures are going to eat into some of the propane and drying time.”
He says recent dry, windy days have helped after a soggy start to the month.
