
A southeast Missouri grower has about half his corn planted. Clint Stephens says the weather this year is much better than this time last year tells Brownfield Ag News, “We had a cold, wet start last year and the planting date was pushed back into April. So, we didn’t get a good start last year. THIS YEAR, it’s been a lot warmer temperatures and we just got in the fields a lot earlier.”
Stephens started planting his corn on March 21st.
