U.S. Senator Roy Blunt says Missouri’s agriculture economy is positioned to thrive moving forward. While addressing the Missouri House of Representatives Wednesday, Blunt said the new infrastructure bill – and the recent transition of USDA employees to Missouri – has set the state up to be a leader in ag research and commerce.
“Between those jobs in Kansas City, and the Danforth Plant Science Center, and Bayer and the University of Missouri, there are more plant scientists in Missouri than anywhere else in the world,” he said.
