Several positives in latest Minnesota crop report

There were several positives in USDA’s latest crop report
for Minnesota.

Warm weather aided in crop development this past week, with
nearly 10 percent of corn acres reaching maturity.

The condition rating for corn improved slightly to 55
percent good to excellent.

The corn for silage harvest advanced to 21 percent, and the
harvest of small grains leapt forward during the first half of last week before
rains moved across much of the state.
