Looking ahead, the 6- to 10-day outlook calls for the likelihood of below-normal temperatures along and west of a line from central Texas to Michigan, while warmer-than-normal weather will prevail from the Pacific Coast to the Plains and upper Midwest.
Meanwhile, below-normal precipitation in Florida, the Far West, and northern sections of the Rockies and High Plains should contrast with wetter-than-normal conditions across much of the central and eastern U.S.
