Soybeans were mixed on spread adjustments. China bought 264,000 tons of 2019/20 U.S. beans and weekly exports were neutral to bullish. China didn’t buy any U.S. soybeans last week, at least officially, and unknown destinations canceled on more than 500,000 tons. There’s more unconfirmed talk China will buy billions of dollars in U.S. ag goods, including $20 billion in the first year, after “Phase One” of the trade deal is signed, which might happen in mid-November.
