The USDA reports corn export inspections as of the week ending September 27th remain ahead of what’s needed to meet projections for the 2018/19 marketing year.
Wheat came out at 369,270 tons, down 58,944 from the week ending September 20th and 369,976 lower than the week ending September 28th, 2017. Just over a quarter into the 2018/19 marketing year, wheat inspections are 6,913,938 tons, compared to 9,969,580 in 2017/18.
Corn was reported at 1,344,689 tons, 8,448 less than the previous week, but 490,989 more than this time last year.
