The USDA says recent rains have helped improve some of Michigan’s crop condition.
The USDA says corn is now 90 percent in the dough stage, 67 percent dented, 13 percent mature and condition is 53 percent good to excellent.
Soybeans are 96 percent setting pods, 21 percent dropping leaves and condition is rated 63 percent good to excellent.
Dry beans are 95 percent setting pods, 47 percent dropping leaves and 47 percent good to excellent.
