Most of South Dakota’s crops are doing well with adequate soil moisture reported in just over half of the state.
USDA reporters say 36% of the corn is in good condition and 9% is excellent, with 37% in poor condition. Ninety-five percent of the state’s corn is dented with 60% of the corn mature. Nine percent of the corn has been harvested, which is 3% more than average.
The soybean crop is rated 7% excellent, 37% good, 38% fair, and 12% poor.
