South Dakota corn is 56 percent good to excellent. Corn planting is 95 percent complete. Soybeans are 55 percent good to excellent. Planting is 84 percent finished. Winter wheat is 67 percent good to excellent. The crop is 80 percent headed, which is behind normal. Spring wheat is 77 percent good to excellent. It’s only 10 percent headed. Normal is 57 headed by now. Sorghum is 92 percent planted, which is about normal. It’s 73 percent good to excellent.
