South Dakota’s Soybean Harvest is Complete

South Dakota winter wheat planting is complete.

According to the latest crop progress and conditions report from the USDA, corn is 94 percent harvested for grain. Soybeans are 100 percent harvested.

Winter wheat is 28 percent adequate to surplus and 75 percent emerged. Sorghum is 94 percent harvested.

Topsoil moisture is 23 ​percent adequate to surplus and subsoil moisture is ​28 percent adequate to surplus.
