President Trump and Congressional Democrats agreed to a two-trillion-dollar infrastructure price tag Tuesday, and the Executive Director of the Soy Transportation Coalition is encouraged by the apparent progress in Washington. Mike Steenhoek tells Brownfield, “This intention, and that’s what it is today, it’s an intention, we would like for it to become an outcome and that’s going to require a lot more discussion. That’s going to require a lot more collaboration.”
Steenhoek says America’s multimodal transportation system needs to make the complete connection between the farm and the consumer.
