A soybean grower on a trade mission to China says he feels
good about the meetings he’s had with Chinese soybean buyers. Iowa grower Lindsay
Greiner of Keota tells Brownfield from a stop in Shanghai that the news he’s
getting is what he hoped to hear.
“We want to get back to doing business together,” Greiner told Brownfield in a
call from the large port city on China’s East Coast. “I think that’s positive news
for soybean farmers and I think it’s positive news for soybean buyers in China.”
The trade delegation, including Greiner and other Iowa Soybean Association
leaders, meets with Chinese buyers through this week.
