Soybean planting still slow in South Dakota

For soybeans, planting trails the typical pace by more than a week at 34 percent.

Spring wheat planting has surpassed 90 percent with 57 percent rated in good to excellent condition.

Winter wheat is just 30 percent good to excellent, with one percent headed as of Sunday.
