A farmer in southeast Missouri says he’s ready for dry, warm conditions so that he can finish planting his crops.
Hudson Byrd says the moisture has been good for corn, but the standing water in fields has drowned some newly emerged soybeans.
“We will have to replant, but right now, it’s looking like 80 to 120 acres of replant. It looks like there might be another rain in the forecast on Friday or Saturday.
