Soybean tariffs result in trade innovations

Trade disruptions have been expensive for soybean growers, although there has been relief from the USDA’s Market Facilitation Program payments of $1.65 a bushel on 50 percent of a grower’s production. The tariff dispute with China has resulted in the U.S. landing some foreign soybean markets that might not have otherwise been landed.
