Soybeans were lower on fund and technical selling, pulling March beans to a modest weekly loss. Brazil’s harvest is ongoing, with their basis dropping, limiting export demand for U.S. beans even further. Additionally, Argentina’s set to produce a larger crop this year thanks to better weather, with the latest guess from the Buenos Aires Grain Exchange at 52.5 million tons, 1% above the prior projection. 98.4% of that crop is planted, faster than last year.
