Soybeans down despite new sale to China

Soybeans were lower on profit taking and technical selling. China bought another 1,199,000 million tons of U.S. beans Wednesday morning, but traders bought the rumor Tuesday and then sold the fact. That’s still more than what the trade was talking about Tuesday and brings the total purchases since this partial resumption of trade closer to the 5 million to 8 million tons that were initially expected.
