Soybeans were higher on commercial and technical buying, helping contracts post a week to week gain. The USDA has acreage at 80 million acres, down 10% from 2018, with a 47% year to year jump in stocks, with supplies hitting a June 1st record. That acreage number will likely change with a USDA resurvey and stocks were actually smaller than expected. The trade expects decent planting progress overall in Monday’s weekly numbers.
