The vice president of market intelligence for the United Soybean Board says the rising demand for biodiesel has helped increase the value of soybean oil.
Mac Marshall tells Brownfield biodiesel is one of the most-used renewable fuels on the market and it’s creating new opportunities for soybean growers.
“Because when you crush it, you get oil AND meal,” he said. “We’re also producing a lot more meal that will go into animal agriculture.
