A farmer from south-central Kansas says the consistent spring rains have been a blessing after years of excessively dry conditions.

Craig Meeker, also the chairman of the National Sorghum Producers Association, tells Brownfield sorghum planting has been delayed at times this spring due to the rains, but there wasn’t any problem getting the corn planted and it’s got a good stand.
