State advisory committee continues work on hemp program

A bill

legalizing hemp in Indiana was passed in the spring and an advisory committee

is working on establishing rules and regulations for a state hemp program.

Kettler is the director of the Indiana State Department of Agriculture Director. 

“As a department, we have to submit our state plan on industrial hemp to the USDA and that advisory committee is important for us to make sure we’ve included all the pieces in that state plan that we want included,” he says.
