Wisconsin FSA Director says Farm Service Agency offices have been focused on processing the third tranche of Market Facilitation Program payments this week.

Sandra Chalmers says, “The Secretary gave us the go-ahead to start making the payments on Monday and we started the work on Tuesday. Every office in the state was busy at it getting these payments signed and out the door.”
Chalmers says the first two rounds of MFP have paid farmers more than ten billion dollars nationally, with more than 260-million dollars to Wisconsin alone, and the third round is expected to be another 25%.
