Farmland values in Iowa have seen a slight uptick in the past year, according to the latest land value survey by Iowa State University.
The statewide average value came in at nearly 75-hundred dollars an acre, an increase of about 170 dollars from 2018. That is an average of all types of farmland in the state. The Northwest district reported the highest overall land values at close to 94-hundred dollars per acre, and the South Central district reported the lowest overall land values at nearly 45-hundred dollars per acre.
