David Roome says the field evaluation doesn’t need to take long.
“They can evaluate some of the root structure and standability on some of those grounds.”
Roome says farmers can use that information to make their hybrid selections for 2024. And he says with a larger corn-on-corn rotation expected in northwest Illinois, hybrid selection will be especially important.
