Dr. Douglas Wagner, Newport Laboratories, senior technical services veterinarian, says for producers who are battling winter pinkeye they’re also facing a loss of production and reduced profitability.
Wagner says prevention can be making sure nutrition is dialed in, their immune system is completely up and running the way it should be, and if necessary, incorporating a custom-made vaccine.
