Grain marketing is one of the biggest challenges many farmers face. It can be a real emotional roller coaster.
Klint and Aimee Bissell of Bedford, Iowa have developed a strategy that Aimee says helps take the emotion out their grain marketing decisions. It’s pretty simple, she says.
“We set our price and then you have to be happy with it,” Aimee says. “So if prices go above–well, this what you said you were okay making this year, this is what I guaranteed us, that’s what we get.”
