Tariff extension granted to EU and NAFTA partners

President Trump has extended his May 1st deadline to decide if the European Union, Canada and Mexico will be permanently exempt from steel and aluminum tariffs.

The administration will have an additional 30 days to make a decision.

Kevin Lawlor with the coalition Americans for Farms and Families tells Brownfield if the U.S. imposes tariffs and the EU and others decide to take retaliatory measures, farmers will be impacted.
