The
group Tariffs Hurt the Heartland is warning that more farm failures could
result from President Trump’s latest escalation of the U.S. China Trade War.
Trump
says 10% tariffs will go into place on 300-Billion-dollars worth of Chinese imports
in September.
The
group says “raising tariffs further on American businesses and consumers will
only result in slower economic growth, more farm bankruptcies, fewer jobs and
higher prices.”
China
reportedly says it will retaliate.
