Tariffs on $34 billion in Chinese goods are set to go into effect tomorrow, and China has said it will retaliate immediately with equal tariffs on US goods, including soybeans and cars.
In a recent press conference, a spokesman for China’s Ministry of Commerce said that the U.S. is “opening fire” on the world, including itself.
President Trump has threatened to impose additional tariffs on $200 billion worth of Chinese goods in response to China’s decision to retaliate.
