Temps to vary west to east across the Heartland; a seasonal moisture pattern ahead

Looking ahead, the 6- to 10-day outlook calls for the likelihood of near- or above-normal temperatures and precipitation across much of the country.  Cooler-than-normal conditions will be confined to areas along the Canadian border, from northern Minnesota to northern New England.

Meanwhile, drier-than-normal weather should be limited to parts of the South, from the Four Corners region to the western and central Gulf Coast States.
