Across the Corn Belt, snow showers are confined to the upper Great Lakes region. Elsewhere, mild, dry weather continues to promote off-season farm maintenance, as conditions permit, as well as calving and lambing activities. Tuesday’s high temperatures should top 55°F as far north as the middle Mississippi Valley.
On the Plains, mild weather prevails, with any snow showers limited to Montana and the Dakotas. Livestock producers on the southern Plains continue to face some challenges related to long-term drought.
