The Fertilizer Institute has five new grower/crop advisor pairs being recognized as 4R Advocates.
Since 2012, the 4R (Right source, Right rate, Right time,
Right place) Advocate Program has recognized 90 ag producers and retailers representing
over 215,000 acres in 22 states. The individuals are recognized for their
forward-thinking and nutrient stewardship practices.
At Commodity Classic, Brownfield sat down with Corey Rosenbusch,
the new CEO of The Fertilizer Institute, as well as two of the 2020 4R Advocates
to talk about the program, practices implemented on their farms and how those
practices are improving their both their bottom line and the quality of their
land.
