The CEO of the Missouri Corn Growers Association says Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has further underlined the need for energy security and diversity in the US.
Bradley Schad tells Brownfield, “In a world where energy security matters more than ever, we need all the help we can get, and there is no better resource than the American corn farmer producing ethanol made right here in the United States.”
He says the first step needs to be an emergency declaration by the EPA or passage of a bill in congress to allow the sale of E15 this summer.
