Timely rains in Tennessee helped in crop development and pasture recovery.

Corn is rated 68% good to excellent with 71% silking and 15% in the dough stage.  Soybeans are rated 65% good to excellent with 95% of the crop emerged, 55% blooming, and 21% setting pods.  Cotton is rated 71% good to excellent with 80% squaring and 26% setting bolls. 

Pastures conditions vary, improved to 62% good to excellent rating.  First cuttings were short due to unfavorable weather, but recent rains have helped some fields bounce back ahead of second cutting.  Tobacco is rated 84% good to excellent with 97% transplanted and 14% topped.
