Farmers and ag leaders from Minnesota, Nebraska and South Dakota are about to embark on a trade mission to the Philippines.
Minnesota Ag Commissioner Thom Petersen says the delegation leaves July 10th.
“The Philippines has been a good market for corn, pork, with different tariffs being changed there.”
He tells Brownfield the Midwest trade delegation will be touting its products and producers.
“We’re competing in a world market (telling importers) Minnesota produces a high quality crop, that we have a good availability.
